You are not the employer. The engineer stays employed and paid by Chandram AI Technologies and works remotely, so there is no Australian payroll, contractor onboarding or entitlements administration for you to set up.

Yes. The daily overlap is agreed with you before the engagement starts. The engineer keeps Australian business hours, so a morning standup and same-day answers are both practical.
No. The engineer is employed and paid by Chandram AI Technologies throughout and works remotely. You direct the project and are billed per engineer per month. Nothing about the arrangement requires you to employ anyone.
